Dancing Viennese WALTZ - Group A
Caroline
Hi, I left my career in HR 9 years ago and now teach Yoga and Qigong as a part-time job. I have some incredible students who continually inspire me and have been teaching Yoga for 24 years. My 3 passions are teaching, gardening and looking after my Bengal cat, which all keep me busy. I’ve always been active and taken part in sports but never done anything like this before – I’m excited and nervous at the same time!
Excited to take up the challenge of learning something new but mostly so that my Mum (who’s a huge Strictly fan) can come and watch and get a laugh at my efforts!
Probably a bit on the ‘wild’ side !!
Definitely here in Guernsey, so my 88 year old Mum can get a chance to sit in the audience.
If more people could eat sustainably and think about the effect they’re having before choosing meat!

Our
Dancer...
In the mornings you’ll find me on a yoga mat, during the day I support children with educational, emotional and behavioural needs in schools or I’ll be teaching PE, while evenings are spent making music, either at home, in the studio, or at music venues around the island. It’s my second time as a dancer in the DFC after winning the trophy last year.
I’m excited about learning a brand new dance, sharing the love of dancing with my partner, and performing in front of family and friends. My mum is the reason I started dancing and the reason I continue to do so. She loves watching me dance and I’m grateful for the opportunity to make her proud on the dancefloor.
Mickey has a unique style
The Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury because it would be a euphoric feeling to share with all those people.
Introduce yoga and mindfulness journaling to the school curriculum.
